JESS BRADLEY SCORES SECOND US WIN IN TWO MONTHS

East Devon College former pupil Jess Bradley has chalked up her second win on the US women's golf circuit in her freshman year at Lynn University, Boca Raton in Florday.
Jess, from Bishops Nympton, scored her first win in early February in the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate. Her impressive No 2 victory came yesterday in the 23rd Annual Eagle Invitational over a cracking course, LPGA International's Champions course, at Daytona Beach, Florida.
Jess, who has her 20th birthday coming up on July 14, started with a career-low round of four-under-par 68 over the 6,085yd course. She couldn't quite touch the heights again in the second round but a 76 for level par 144 saw Jess head the field of 88 players by five strokes.
And her outstanding performance enabled Lynn University - with some help for her colleagues, of course, to win the team event by 20 shots from William Woods University in a field of 17 teams.
It was Lynn University's third team win of the 2011-2012 US college season, something they have not managed since the 2006-2007 campaign.
