KATY McNICOLL FINISHES JOINT FOURTH IN SPAIN

Carnoustie's Katy McNicoll finished joint fourth in the Spanish Banesto Tour's Parador Malaga 36-hole golf tournament today. Katy had a pair of 74s for four-over-par total of 148 - five shots behind the winner, Italy's Alessandra Averna (70-73).
Katy had 16 pars and two bogeys in her final round, compared with two birdies and four bogeys in her first round.
 Heather MacRae (Gleneagles) finished joint 24th in a field of 40 with scores of 75 and 82 for 157.
Heather had a bad outward half of 43, including four double bogeys. She had two birdies in her round.
