BECKY HARRIES WINS TENBY TROPHY BY 4 FROM AMY BOULDEN

Our annual Women's 36-hole scratch competition held on Sunday, April 15, was this year generously sponsored by Valero. Played in chilly but at least dry conditions, there were some excellent scores recorded including from some of our local players.
1stPrize for the Best combined Gross score over 36 holes was won by local girl Becky Harries from Haverfordwest with a total Gross score of 141 from 2 excellent rounds of 70 and 71. Becky holds the Tenby Trophy for the next year and also won a voucher for £175.
In 2ndplace was Amy Boulden from Conwy with a Gross of 145, winning a voucher for £125. Amy also took the Neguri Trophy for best Under 21 Junior Lady and a further voucher of £75.
3rdprize and voucher for £100 was won by Katie Bradbury from Cottrell Park with a total Gross score 148. In 4thplace winning a voucher for £75, was Katherine O’Connor from Tadmarton Heath with a total score of 150.
Prize vouchers were also awarded for the best a.m. and p.m. Gross and Nett rounds by players not placed in the top 4 combined score results:

Best Nett a.m. Bethan Morris, Best Nett p.m. Elspeth Owen.
