CARLY BOOTH LYING JOINT SEVENTH IN FRANCE

Comrie's Carly Booth is lying joint seventh and Katy McNicoll from Carnoustie joint 26th with one round to go in the Dinard Ladies Open golf tournament at Saint Briac sur Mer, Brittany. Booth, with birdies at the fifth, 15th and 17th, shot a 70 for 139 to be six shots behind leader Marion Ricordeau (66-67 for 133) over the par-69 course. She did well to recover from a double bogey 6 at the first and dropped only two more shots in the remaining 17 holes - at the ninth and 16th. McNicoll made the cut right on the limit mark of 143 after a second-round 72, Scots who failed were Curtis Cup selection Pamela Pretswell (Bothwell Castle) who had a double bogey 5 at the short 12th on her way to a 75 for 144 - just one shot off qualifying. Heather MacRae (Gleneagles) missed out on 146 (72-74) and Glasgow's Gemma Webster on 148 (74-74).
