CAROL WILSON v SHEENA WOOD FOR ABERDEENSHIRE TITLE

This afternoon's Aberdeenshire women's county championship final at Balgownie will be contested by leading qualifier Carol Wilson (Murcar Links) and several times past champion Sheena Wood (Aberdeen Ladies).
Wilson beat another former county title-holder Sammy Leslie (Aberdeen Ladies) by one hole in the first semi-final this morning. Wood beat Banchory's Linda Urquhart by 2 and 1 in the other semi-final.
Murcar Links youngster Molly Stewart won the county handicap title by beating Kathleen Esslemont (Cruden Bay) 6 and 5.
