CATRIONA MATTHEW TOP BRIT, CHARLEY HULL T38 in LPGA MAJOR

The first LPGA Tour major of the season - the Kraft Nabisco Championship - at Mission Hills, California - ended in a play-off between two South Korean players on 279 (Sun Young Yoo beat I K Kim in the play-off)
Yani Tseng finished third, a shot behind.
Catriona Matthew was the leading British player in T15 on 284.
Jodi Ewart came next on 287 and then came 16 year old amateur Charley Hull who finished T38 on 289 - a marvellous performance for one so young and playing in a major ladies' pro event. Had she been a pro, she would have won aroun $11,000.
