ELIE SPORTS CLUB 60th ANNIVERSARY JUNIOR OPEN

What a difference a week can make! Last week it was shirtsleeves on the links at Elie. This week it was every garment available without hindering the swing! But the snow cleared just in time for the first tee time of this 60^th anniversary,  and what followed was an awesome display of golf in all age categories. Not only golf was of the highest order, but also sportsmanship, respect for the rules of golf and etiquette. Charles Crummey, Captain The Golf House Club, presided at the prize giving, and Susie Robertson, Captain Elie and Earlsferry Ladies Golf Club gave away the prizes.

Winners and runners up in each section were as follows:

 The Crummey Cup for Girls under 12 years.

Winner: Anna Mackay. Runner Up: Alexandra Massey

 The Lochburn Cup for Girls under 14 years.

Winner: Clare Robertson. Runner Up: Izzy Halligan

 The Malta Cup for Boys under 12 years.

Winner: Craig Jackman. Runner Up: Ben McKay

 The Sports Club Cup for Boys under 14 years

Winner: Lewis Reid 2/1. Runner up:  Rory Franssen

 The Marine Hotel Rose Cup for Boys under 16 years

Winner: Cameron Franssen, 1 Hole. Runner Up:  Michael Brodie

 The Todd Cup for Girls under 18 years

Winner: Eilidh Watson at 21^st hole. Runner up:  Lindsay Stevenson

 The Andrew Burns Cup for Boys under 18 years.

Winner: Greg Forrester, 2/1. Runner Up: Connor Syme
