MOODIE AND EWART MISS LPGA CUT ON HAWAII

Janice Moodie, Jodi Ewart and rising US star Lexi Thompson had one thing in common after the second round of this week's LPGA Tour event on Hawaii - LPGA LOTTE - they all missed the cut at 147 or better.

Janice shot 73-75 for 148 to miss it by one.

Lexi shot 75-76 for 151 to miss it by four

Jodi had scores of 78-77 for 155 to miss it by a country mile (eight shots to be precise).

Catriona Matthew is not playing in this one.

Japan's Ai Miyazato and Spain's Azahara Munoz, winner of the British open amateur title at Harlech two or three years ago, share the second-round lead at eight-under 136.
