NEWS FROM THE LPGA SYMETRA TOUR (formerly FUTURES TOUR)

Olivia Jordan-Higgins from the Channel Islands and Hertfordshire's Hannah Burke both shot one-over-par 73s to be in joint 10th position at the end of the first round of the LPGA Symetra Tour (formerly the Futures Touor) event this weekend, the Sara Bay Classic at Satasota, Florida.

Rachel Connor from Manchester had a 76 to be sharing 54th place.

American Jacqui Concolina is setting the pace with a 70, one shot ahead of Canada's Ashley Sholer and South Africa's Melissa Eaton-Jackson.
