MONDAY NOON ENTRY DEADLINE FOR SCOTTISH WOMEN'S CH/SHIP

Title-holder Louise Kenney (Pitreavie) and Kelsey MacDonald (Nairn Dunbar), the 2010 champion, are leaving it late to file their entries for the Scottish women's amateur championship at Tain Golf Club, Ross-shire from May 15 to 19. Entries must be received at the SLGA headquarters in Perth by noon on Monday (April 16) and the 47 entries listed so far on the SLGA website do not include the names of Louise and Kelsey. Entry fee is £40 and the handicap limit is 20.4. The maximum field would be 132 but that figure has not been reached in recent times.
