Rachel wins Ayrshire Girls' Spring Medal

The first medal of the season for the County girls was played over Prestwick St. Nicholas on Sunday on a bright but cold windy afternoon. The overall winner was Rachel Irvine from Largs who had a nett 75 playing off 11 handicap. Hazel McGarvie, Troon Ladies had the best inward half to take 2nd place on 78. The bronze winner was Emma Paterson from Loudoun with a nett 76 and 2nd was Louise Duncan, West Kilbride on 80. The SSS is 72 and CSS on the day 75.
The Pre-handicap girls played 10 holes on a shortened course and their results were:-
Under 12 years 1st Alison Malcolm 2nd Sarah Ramsay
12 and above 1st Emily McAlpine 2nd Sophie Craig
