ABERDEENSHIRE NAME TEAM FOR NORTH DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP AT MONIFIETH

Two former county champions, Sammy Leslie (Aberdeen Ladies) and Donna Pocock (Murcar Links), return to the Aberdeenshire team for the North Division women's inter-county team championship against Angus, Northern Counties and Perth and Kinross at Monifieth Links from June 16 to 18. Both were injured and unable to play in last year's jamboree at Inchmarlo where Aberdeenshire, whose only win was against Northern Counties, finished third behind winners Perth and Kinross and runners-up Angus. Leslie and Pocock replace Claire Prouse (Hazlehead) and Fiona Hay (Deeside). The Aberdeenshire team includes new Scottish champion Laura Murray (Alford).
