AILSA BAIN, KIRSTIN SCOTT START PGA TRAINING

Ailsa Bain, pictured, from Peebles, Scottish Under-18 girls' match-play champion in 2009, when she beat Sammy Vass (Tain) in the final, has joined the PGA staff at Macdonald Cardrona Golf and Country Club as a trainee.

Kirstin Scott is in a similar position at Hilton Park Golf Club.
