AMY BOULDEN IS TOP SEED FOR WELSH WOMEN'S (close) CH/SHIP

Curtis Cup team selection Amy Boulden (Conwy) is the No 1 seed for the Welsh women's (closed) championship at Cardigan Golf Club.
She had a pair of 71s over the par 72 course (SS 74, CSS 74-74) for a qualifying total of 142.
Defending champion Becky Harries (Haverfordwest), who beat Amy in last year's final and is a GB and I Curtis Cup team reserve, gained the No 2 seed status with scores of 73-70 for 143.
Chloe Williams had the same 143 total as Becky but Becky's superior second round (70 to Chloe's 73) was the tie-breaker
