ENGLAND NAME THREE MIXED TEAMS FOR FAIRHAVEN TROPHIES

NEWS RELEASE ISSUED BY ENGLAND GOLF
England Golf will again be entering three teams, each comprising two boys and a girl, to compete for the Nations Cup at the Fairhaven Trophies at Fairhaven Golf Club, Lancashire, from May 4 to 6. 
Team One will comprise Gabriella Cowley (West Essex, Essex), Patrick Kelly (Boston West, Lincolnshire) and Max Orrin (North Foreland, Kent).
Team Two will be Olivia Winning (Rotherham, Yorkshire), Harry Ellis (Meon Valley, Hampshire) and Nick Marsh (Elland, Yorkshire).
Team Three will combine Alice Hewson (Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire), Bradley Moore (Kedleston Park, Derbyshire) and Ashton Turner (Kenwick Park, Lincolnshire). 
In Team One: Gabriella Cowley, 16, is the English under 15 girls' champion and has just won the Scottish under 16 open stroke play championship. She is also an under 16 international.
Kelly, 17, a boy international, was runner-up in last year’s British boys' vhampionship and was a member of Lincolnshire’s winning team in the English boys' county championship, while Orrin, 17, another boy cap, has finished runner-up in the Darwin Salver for the past two years and was joint second in the recent McEvoy Trophy.
Orrin finished third in last year’s Fairhaven Trophy.   
In Team Two: Olivia Winning, 17, is the Yorkshire girls' champion. Last year, she finished runner-up in the North region girls' championship, fifth in the English girls' championship and tied third, with Gabriella Cowley, in the North of England under 16 championship.
Ellis, 16, an under 16 cap, was Hampshire junior champion in 2010, tied fourth in last year’s North of England under 16 Championship and was fifth in last week’s McEvoy Trophy while Marsh, 17, finished joint second in the McEvoy Trophy and is a member of the England boys squad. 
In Team Three: Alice Hewson, 14, was English under 13 girls' champion in 2010. She was one of two 13-year-olds to contest the final of the 2011 Hertfordshire county championship and represented Hertfordshire at the English County Finals. This year she tied fifth in the Scottish under 16 open stroke play championship.
Moore, 14, an England under 16 and Schools international, is the current English under 14 champion, having tied fifth in the under 16 championship. He finished fourth in the recent McEvoy Trophy, while Turner, 16, is also an under 16 and Schools international, who finished equal third in the 2010 English under 14 Championship and tenth in this year’s McEvoy Trophy. 
The Nations Cup is contested over the first two rounds of the 72-hole Fairhaven Trophies with all three scores to count.
