GEORGIA HALL WINS AGAIN - THIS TIME THE CRITCHLEY SALVER

NEWS RELEASE FROM ENGLAND GOLF
England international Georgia Hall has completed a hat trick of wins in prestigious scratch events with victory in the Critchley Salver at Sunningdale. The 16-year-old from Remedy Oak in Dorset was six-under par for the 36-hole event and won by a stroke, thanks to an up-and-down birdie four on her last hole.
Georgia, pictured by Cal Carson Golf Agency, adds this win to successes in the Hampshire Rose, which she shared, and the Roehampton Gold Cup. In addition, she was runner-up in the English women’s amateur championship and said: “I was really pleased, this is my third win this year and I haven’t been out of the top three in anything.
“It’s a good record and hopefully I can keep it up,” she added as she looked ahead to the Astor Salver at The Berkshire, county match week for Dorset, and the British amateur championship at Carnoustie.
Georgia, who is currently the 23rd highest ranked amateur in the world, had seven birdies in her second round at Sunningdale and said: “The course was in great condition and the greens were fantastic. I played how I wanted to, hitting fairways and greens and taking advantage of the par-fives to get birdies.”
She rounded off her day with a birdie on her 36th hole where her flop shot over a bunker ended 8ft from the hole and the putt was duly rolled in.
