The weather proved as sparkling as the golf at Ratho Park Golf Club today. The final between Glencorse and Craigmillar Park was eagerly anticipated after the earlier semi finals saw these teams go through after winning against the defending champions Kingsknowe 7 and 6, and Broomieknowe 7 and 6.
The final match ended on the 18th with Craigmillar Park the victors in an exciting closely-fought finale.

The worthy winners from Craigmillar Park were:
Team 1 - Karen Ballantyne and Marion Quigley
Team 2 - Sal Shepperd and Frances McFadzean

Beaten finalists - Glencorse
Team 1 - Emily Dalgetty and Kirsten Blackwood
Team 2 Jessica Dalgetty and Caroline Kinnaird

It was good to see many supporters following the games, including players from clubs who had played previous rounds of the tournament.

Craigmillar Park expressed their thanks to Ratho Park Golf Club for hosting such a successful tournament.
