P AND K TEAM TO DEFEND NORTHERN DIVISION TITLE AT MONIFIETH

Perth and Kinross women's golf team to defend the North Division iunter-county championship at Monifieth Links from June 16 to 18 includes international curling star Eve Muirhead (Pitlochry), winner of the county championship for the first time, and Eilidh Watson (Muckhart) who reached the semi-finals of the Scottish women's amateur championship at Tain Golf Club last week.

The other teams in the Northern Division are Angus, Aberdeenshire and Northern Counties.

The winners of the title at Monifieth go forward to the Scottish women's county finals at Montrose in September.
