Adam Fisher representing Cults Academy won the Paul Lawrie Aberdeen Schools’ Scratch Trophy at a misty Murcar Links yesterday.  Two-handicapper, Adam spreadeagled the field with a level par 71, and a 3 shot winning advantage over Ben Henderson, also of Cults Academy. In his round, Fisher, had two birdies - at the second and 17th - but these were negated by dropped shots at the first and third. Henderson was four over at the turn having bogeyed the first, second, third and eighth holes. However a tap in birdie at the difficult tenth settled him down and a level par inward nine was sufficient to secure the runners-up spot.
The Paul Lawrie Girls’ Rosebowl was won by Lauren Watson (Robert Gordon’s College) for the second time in 3 years. A net score of 74 giving her a comfortable winning margin of 4 shots.
There was further success for Cults Academy when the Paul Lawrie Schools’ Scratch (13 to 24 Handicap) Trophy was won by Aiden Combe with a nine over par 79.  Thirteen year old, Glen Morrison (Harlaw Academy) won the Paul Lawrie Handicap (13 to 24 Handicap) Trophy with a net 63 off 17, beating Hazlehead’s Camran Knowles on a countback.
