EUROPEAN WIN PALMER CUP SINGLES

Europe won the Day 2 singles 4 1/2-3 1/2 but still trail the United States 10-6 with one day to go in the Palmer Cup students international golf match at Royal Co Down GC, Newcastle, Northern Ireland. Stirling students Graeme Robertson and David Booth both lost. Robertson, playing No 1 in the singles, went down by 3 and 2 to Chris Williams. Booth lost by 4 and 2 to Andrew Yun.
