China's Feng Shanshan shot a superb final round of 67 to win the LPGA Championship at Locust Hill by two shots.
The 22-year-old from Beijing finished on six-under-par to claim her first career LPGA triumph and become the first Chinese golfer to win a major title.
She began the day at one-under, three shots off the pace, but powered up the leaderboard thanks to a flawless final round.
Birdies at two, six and eight took her out in 32 and the world No.10 picked up another shot at the 12th, before giving herself some breathing space with another birdie at 17.
She then parred the last to complete the lowest round of the week and none of the later starters were able to match her score.
There was a four-way tie for second place, featuring Japan's Mika Miyazato (69), Norway's Suzann Pettersen (70), America's Stacy Lewis (70) and South Korea's Eun-Hee Ji (72), who had led after round three.
Pettersen had shared the lead with Feng on the back nine but took bogeys at the 13th and 14th holes to stumble off the pace, and not even a birdie at the 17th could put her back in the hunt.
Australia's Karrie Webb began the day one shot off the pace but could only manage a 72 and finished one shot further back, in a tie for sixth.

Catriona Matthew and Yorkshire's Jodi Ewart finished the top British players in joint 36th place on 295.They each earned $13,263.
Becky Morgan was the only othe Brit to survice the cut. She totalled 297 for a share of 51st place and earned $8,363
