WATT DUFFUS TROPHY TOURNAMENT AT TURRIFF

Peterculter's Rachel Polson, home for the summer holidays from college in Florida, won the Mrs J  P Kennaway Cup for the best individual score at the Aberdeenshire Ladies County Golf Assocation's Watt Duffus Trophy inter-club golf tournament at Turriff GC. Rachel shot a 71, two under the CSS, and won by three shots from Kemany's Fiona Hay whose next 68 off six won her the Individual Handicap Trophy Third behind Polson and Hay was Scottish amateur champion and St Rule Trophy winner Laura Murray (Alford) with a 75. Aberdeen Ladies 1 (Sheena Wood, Sammy Leslie, Fiona Seedhouse and Kim Watt) won the Watt Duffus Trophy for the third time in the past four years.with a scratch aggregate of 236.

Inchmarlo (T Halliwell, H Wood, J Sutherland, S Black) won the Handicap Trophy with a net total of 219.
