Torphins' 12-year-old Shannon McWilliam (Aboyne), fifth in the girls' section, and Calum Graham (Crieff), fifth in the boys' standings. were the top Scots performers in the Loretto School Scottish Under-14s golf championships. Both the titles went South of the Border. Matty Lamb, from Hexham in the North-east of England, shot 69-72 for a one-over-par total of 141. Graham had scores of 73 and 74 for 147. Samantha Fuller (Roehampton) matched the girls' par of 144 with a pair of 72s for a three-shot victory from last year's winner, Norway's Susana Vik (73-74). Shannon McWilliam had rounds of 74 and 77 for 151.
