The first score returned in the Glenbervie Junior Open turned out to be the winning one. Jamie Simpson of Falkirk Golf Club returned a gross 71 to have the best scratch score of the day and won the Countryside Developments Trophy. None of the other 44 competitors was able to match this early pace setter,
