Murcar Links regained the Lyon Inter-Club Foursomes title they last held in 2010 when they beat Aberdeen Ladies 1 by an overall one hole in the final at Newburgh-on-Ythan Golf Club.
The two-day tournament started at Newmachar Golf Club on Monday but play was abandoned there around tea time when the course was flooded by rain of a cloudburst intensity.
Newburgh-on-Ythan GC agreed to host the concluding day's play.
Murcar Links' lead-off pairing of Donna Pocock and Susan Murray finished all square with Sheena Wood and Sammy Leslie of Aberdeen Ladies.
Murcar Links' winning margin came from their second string of Carol Wilson and Molly Stewart who finished on up on Kim Watt and Fiona Seedhouse.
Murcar Links were a combined three holes ahead until Aberdeen Ladies came with a late rally which just failed to force the final into extra holes.
In the resumed quarter-final, which started at Newmachar yesterday afternoon, Aberdeen Ladies scored a seven-hole win over Peterculter.
In the semi-finals, Murcar Links beat the young Deeside quarter 4-0 while the rampant Aberdeen Ladies 1 team were winners by 10 holes over the defending champions, Cruden Bay.
