PRETSWELL LOSES GROUND BUT STILL LEADING SCOT IN NORWAY

Pamela Pretswell shot a second-round 78 - six shots worse than her par-matching first round - to slip from joint fourth to sharing 16th place in the Ladies Norwegian Challenge tournament.
The Hamilton 23-year-old, playing in her first event since announcing that she had quit the amateur ranks, never recovered from a double bogey 6 at the short fourth but she is still the leading Scot in the field behind the three-shot leader, Marianne Skarpnord, the Norwegian winner of the 2003 British girls' open amateur title.
Pamela Feggans on 151 (75-76) and Gemma Webster 153 (80-73) were the only other Scots to beat the cut at 153.
Katy McNicoll (Carnoustie) missed out on 156 (79-77) and amateur Kelsey MacDonald (Nairn Dunbar) suffered a similar fate On 157 (79-78)
