SALLY WATSON SLIPS TO JT 23rd PLACE IN EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Sally Watson slipped down to a share of 23rd place on 141 with a round of two-over 73 after an opening 68 in the European women's individual amateur championship at Ljubljana Golf Club, Slovenia.
She is seven shots behind the two-stroke leader, France's Celine Boutier (68-66) at the halfway stage of the 72-hole tournament
Kelsey MacDonald is sharing 67th place on 146 with scores of 74 and 72.
Scottish champion Laura Murray has had rounds of 71 and 76 for 147 and joint 76th place.
