THREE SCOTS BOYS IN LEADING SEVEN AT STRATHAVEN

Title-holder Ben Kinsley (St Andrews) fell back to 11th place with a 79 for 148 at the halfway stage of the Scottish Under-16 boys' stroke-play championship at Strathaven GC today.
But there are still three Scots in the leading seven - Oban's Robert MacIntyre (Glencruitten), one shot behind leader Oskar Bergqvist (Sweden), with rounds of 69-72 for 141, Murray Naysmith (Marriott Dalmahoy), lying third on 143 (69-74) and, in seventh place, Cameron Kirkwood (Bearsden) on 145 (74-71).
Players with totals of 154 and better qualified for Friday's two rounds.
