AILSA SUMMERS IS BIG HIT IN BELGIUM

                                   AILSA SUMMERS

Ailsa Summers (Carnoustie Ladies) won the girls' long driving competition on the eve of the Total Belgian junior international tournament which teed off at Royal Club de Belgique near Brussels today.
Ailsa drove the ball 308 metres - some 16 metres ahead of the runner-up in the girls' section.
Competing for Scotland in the stroke-play main event which ends on Saturday are Ailsa and Scottish girls champion Lauren Whyte (St Regulus) as well as Ewan Scott (St Andrews) and Ewen Ferguson (Bearsden).
