GULLANE GOLFER'S ST ANDREWS WIN

Three of the four finals in St Andrews holiday golf tournaments for boys and girls today were won by players from south of the Border.
The one exception was Thomas Simmonds from Gullane. He won the Murray Mitchell Trophy handicap match-play final by 5 and 4 over Germany's Jasper Schuerman.
Blair Carnegie (Dunblane New) had hard lines in his final. He went down at the 22nd in the scratch match-play for the Merchants Cup to Liam Sutton from Folkestone.
