Scotland made a disappointing start to the Veteran Ladies' jamboree at The Hirsel. They were beaten 5-4 by North of England after taking a 2-1 lead from the foursomes into the singles. Former Scottish champion Fiona Anderson from Blairgowrie, who has lived in the Manchester area for some time, won twice for the English side.
