Considering the foul weather at Hoylake all week, the attendance figures at the Ricoh Women's British Open were surprisingly good
I would bet the bad-weather forecast for Sunday kept the last-day figures down to 13,200 after Saturday's gate was as high as 16,900
The attendance at next year's Ricoh Women's British Open - to be held over the Old Course, St Andrews from August 1 to 4, should
be considerably higher, good or bad weather.
