DANIEL THOMPSETT SECOND THEN FOURTH FOR ROCKY MOUNTAIN COLLEGE
Daniel Thompsett from Aboyne, a second-year student at
Rocky Mountain College, Montana, finished fourth in a field of 50 at this
week's North Idaho Invitational college golf tournament.
Thompsett had rounds of 75, 68 and 68 for a total of five-over-par 221 at Avondale Golf Club, Hayden Lake in Idaho. He finished three shots behind the winner.
The previous week Thompsett finished runner-up in a field of 45 at the Yellowjacket Fall Invite college tournament at Pryor Creek Golf Club, Huntley in Montana.
Daniel scored 71-72 for one-under-par 143, finished three shots behind the winner.
Rocky Mountain College (596) were pipped for the team tile by Montana State-Billings (594) in a field of six teams.
