FIVE SCOTS IN MONDAY'S FIELD FOR FINAL WOMEN'S BRITISH OPEN QUALIFYING

AT HOYLAKE FOR THE WEEK

Five Scots are in the field of 79 for tomorrow's Ricoh Women's British Open championship  Final Qualifying competition over 18 holes at nearby Caldy Golf Club on the Wirral.
Heather MacRae (Gleneagles), Clare Queen (Carrick at Loch Lomond), Lynn Kenny (Archerfield Links), Kylie Walker (Carrick at Loch Lomond) and amateur Kelsey MacDonald (Nairn Dunbar)
are all chasing one of the 20 places available at Royal Liverpool Golf Club's Hoylake Links for the last Major tournament of the women's pro golf season.
Five of the victorious GB andI team in the Curtis Cup match at Nairn GC in June are competing. They are still all amateurs but see their future in the pro ranks. They are:
Holly Clyburn (Woodhall Spa), Bronte Law (Bramhall), Charley Hull (Woburn), Kelly Tidy (Royal Birkdale) and Amy Boulden (Conwy).
