GREAT SCOTT SHARES OVERALL LEAD IN FALDO FINAL

Scottish youths champion Ewan Scott from St Andrews was joint overall overnight leader at the end of the first round of the Nick Faldo Series Grand Final at Lough Erne golf resort in Northern Ireland
Scott and England's Jack Singh Brar and Rochelle Morris all matched the par of 72 in the windy conditions.
Scott, who leads the Boys' Under-18 years' category, had five birdies - at the second, long fourth, seventh, 11th and long 14th - and five bogeys, at the first, eighth, ninth, 10th and 15th.
Kimberley Beveridge from Aboyne had a 79 (42-37) with a double bogey 7 at the ninth.
Jeff Wright (Forres) and Callum Cochrane (Marriott Dalmahoy) marked up 80s. Wright was out in 43 after a traumatic finish to his outward half. He had a double bogey 6 at the eighth and a triple bogey 8 at the long ninth but played well to come home in 37.
Cochrane had halves of 42 and 38.
Heather Munro (Monifieth) had an 81.
