Two players have to drop out before Heather MacRae will be called into the field for the Ricoh Women's British Open championship which tees off at Royal Liverpool Golf Club's Hoylake links on Thursday.
That's because Heather lost to Louise Larsson at the first hole when they resumed their suspended play-off for the first and second alternate spots at Caldy Golf Club at 8am this morning.
Louise is 20 and two years a professional. She plays on the Ladies European Tour.
Larsson (pictured) and MacRae had played four halved holes in increasing darkness last night before they accepted an offer from the Ladies Golf Union officials to suspend the play-off and resume it at 8 am this morning.
So the alternates for the championship are:
1 Louise Larsson (Sweden)
2 Heather MacRae (Gleneagles Hotel)
3 Sophie Walker (England)
4 Jessica Yadloczky (United States)

Twenty-one players with scores of three-over-par 75 and better had gone forward to join the exempt field on Thursday.
Thirteen players who returned 76s went back out on the course last night at 6.35pm.
