The Paul Lawrie Foundation Junior Tour season finale pro am at Newmachar was a great success with 10 teams playing and both the boys and the pros having a lot of fun.

Many thanks to the pros for making the day so good. Despite the overnight rain the greens held up and the course was in great shape.

Kris Nicol (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) led his team of Connor Brown (Peterculter), Calum Sheal (Cruden Bay) and Calum Bruce (Duff House) to victory with a very impressive seventeen under par total.

Two shots further back we had David Law (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) and his team consisting of order of merit winner Henri Charles (Deeside), Calvin Duffton (Torphins) and Kevin Duncan (Keith).

We had 3 nearest the pin prizes and they all went to the Gray family with Cameron winning the 6th and 9th and cousin Ellis closest at 15th.

Both the Paul Lawrie Foundation Junior Tour Boys and Girls match-play titles went to Aboyne with Lewis McWilliam beating Craig Lawrie (Deeside) on the final green and Kimberley Beveridge successfully defending her title against Sophie Alexander (Deeside).
Lewis was never down during the match but Craig fought back after being three down at the turn.
He was one down playing the last and could not better Lewis's rock solid par.
Craig was always up in his semi, eventually beating Ben Murray (Portlethen) 5 and 4. Lewis made it to the final by beating Kerr Baptie (Duff House Royal) on the final green.
In the Girls final defending champion Kimberly was always in control, winning 4 and 3.
Kimberley beat Tegan Seivwright (Deeside) 5 and 4 to make it to the final and Sophie was taken to the final green in her semi against Molly Stewart (Murcar Links).
