SCOTS SENIOR WOMEN FAVOURITES FOR FLIGHT B TITLE
Scotland, who finished 10th in the stroke-play stages of the European senior women's amateur team championships at Lugano GC, Switzerland, are favourites to win the Flight B title.
In today's semi-finals they beat Finland 3-2 and will now play Belgium, 3 1/2-1 1/2 winners of Denmark, in the Flight B final.
Scotland's match details:
Alex Glennie and Alison Bartlett won the foursomes tie 8 and 7.
Mary Smith won her singles tie 4 and 3
Lorna Bennett lost by 3 and 2.
Heather Anderson won by 2 holes
Fiona De Vries lost by 2 and 1.
In the championship flight, it will be France v Italy in Saturday's final.
In today's other matches in Flight A, England lost 3-2 to Sweden.

Semi-finals - France 3 1/2, Spain 1 1/2; Italy 3, Ireland 2.
Also: Switzerland 1 1/2, Germany 3 1/2; Sweden 3, England 2.
