SHIRE GIRLS TITLE TREBLE FOR KIMBERLEY

Kimberley Beveridge (Aboyne) won the Aberdeenshire girls' golf championship for the third year in a row at Craibstone Golf Centre today.
The 17-year-old beat Tegan Seivwright (Deeside) by 3 and 2 in the final, after establishing a two-hole lead over the first six holes and still being two up at the turn.
The handicap championship was an all-Deeside final in which Sarah Black, playing off 17 and receiving 10 strokes, beat Lauren Watson (7) by one hole.

Semi-finals - Lauren Watson (Deeside) (7) bt Shannon McWilliam (Aboyne)(7) 2 and 1, Susan Black (Deeside) (17) bt Olivia Borwick (McDonald Ellon) (8) 2 and 1.
Final - Black bt Watson 1 hole.
