ANGUS WIN TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL BOYS' TITLES AT MCDONALD ELLON

Angus won the team title and filled three of the first four places in the North/North-east/Angus boys' 18-hole tournament at McDonald Ellon Golf Club today.
After highest individual scores had been discarded, Angus totalled 794, North-east 800 and North 814.
Scott Grant (Downfield) had an excellent score of one-under-par 69, winning the top individual prize by one stroke from Caird Park team-mate Connor Cook.
Kieran Mackay (Inverness) was third with a 73.
Ross Dallas (Kirriemuir) and Jamie Pryde (Deeside) both returned 74s. Dallas was placed fourth with a better inward half.
Ryder Cup star Paul Lawrie presented the prizes and delighted the juniors by signing autographs and having his picture taken with them.
