SCOTTISH JUNIOR GOLF TOUR SCORES FROM CARNOUSTIE BURNSIDE

Here are the results from the Scottish Junior Golf Tour event at Carnoustie's Burnside course. It was a level 3, 4 & 5 event. Conditions were very good considering the recent flooding that Carnoustie has recently suffered. 

The greens were very good which allowed the on form boys to score well. Michael Brodie and George Burns had the best scores of the day with level par 68s. 

The standard scratch remained at 70. Murray McCrone won the under 15’s with a gross 72.

2^nd  Brad Bannerman (Strathmore) 74         

3^rd  Fraser Kane (Kirkhill) 75

4^th =   David Fair (Hamilton) and Luke Murdoch ( Loudoun) 76

 

Under 18

1^st =                         68 Michael Brodie (Strathmore) and George Burns (Williamwood)

3^rd =                        71 Euan Waugh (Whitecraigs) and Connor Syme (Dumfries)

 

The handicap prize was won by Jack Savage (Cawder) with a nett 66.

 

David Fair won the short game skill challenges with 67.5 points.
