STEPH PEARETH WINS AGAIN .. IT MUST BE THE CHANGE OF AIR
US COLLEGE GOLF UPDATE FROM KEN CONDON
Durham’s
Steph Peareth (pictured), playing in her third tournament for Concord University
after transferring from Pfeiffer, won the West Virginia Intercollegiate
Athletic Conference Northern Regional last Monday. Steph’s score of 149
(77-72) on the par 71, 5855 yards course at Moundsville, West Virginia,
gave her a one shot victory over Wheeling Jesuit’s Whitney Young, and
helped Concord to a team score of 639, to finish 2nd placed team, 14 shots back from Whitney’s teammates at WJ.
Steph's stats for the Fall season of 1st-2nd-1st are not far off the best recorded by any of our British Students
and she’d also been a winner at Pfeiffer.
Her
season scoring stats of 74.6 average round, compared to previous 79.25
tell its own story!
The change of air and country music in West Virginia
has obviously worked wonders!
