TROON STUDENT JT 2ND FINISH IN TEXAS

Troon's Rachael McQueen, pictured, a second-year student at McLennan College, Waco in Texas, finished joint second in a US college golf tournament this week. Rachael, 22, shot 76, 72 and 72 over a par-71 course of 6,120yd for a seven-over-par total of 220. She finished three shots behind the winner, Shelby Hardy (Sam Houston State) who scored 72, 75 and 70. ends
