FELICITY FLYING, RACHEL AND MELISSA TOILING AT LPGA Q SCHOOL

The good news from Day 2 of the LPGA Tour Final Qualifying School at Daytona Beach, Florida is that Birmingham's Felicity Johnston has turned her prospects around with a second-round, three-under-par 72 today
She is on level par 144 after an opening round of 75.
The bad news is that Rachel Connor from Manchester and Melissa Reid from Derby are toiling and need to hit form quickly to survive even the fifth round cut which will reduce the field to the low 70 players and ties.
Rachel repeated her first-round 77 and is on 10-over-par 154.
Melissa Reid has not taken her A-game with her to the States. She is on 11-over 155 after scores of 79 and 76.
The entry fee for the LPGA Tour School is $2,500, a lot of money down the drain if a player does not earn her Tour Card at the end of the day.
