SEAN LAWRIE JUST OUTSIDE TOP 20 IN TEXAS TOURNEY

Paul Lawrie's nephew Sean, a student at Midland College, Texas, finished 22nd in a field of 37 at the two-day Odessa College Invite 54-hole tournament at Odessa Country Club, Texas today
Sean, pictured, had rounds of 76, 82 and 71 for a total of 229 over a long course of 7,388yd with a testing par of 71. He finished 19 shots behind the winner, Frederik Andersen (Western Texas) (72-70-68 for 210).
Logan Philley (Odessa) finished second on 212 with scores of  67, 73 and 72.
Odessa (868) won the team title by 11 shots from Midland (879) with Western Texas (889) third of the six competing teams.
