FIONA AND ELOISE SHARING SECOND PLACE IN FLORIDA

Germany-based Scots youngster Fiona Liddell was lying joint second  after two rounds of the Pars Florida International Junior Open at Port St Lucie.

Fiona, daughter of Stephen Liddell, the Scots-born club pro at Schloss Vornholz in Germany, shot 75 and 73 in very windy conditions to be one shot behind leader Chanelle Avaricio (75-72) from the Philippines

Over the Festive period in Florida, Fiona Liddell, who is also a Glenbervie junior member, has also played in the 14-15 years' girls' sections of the Doral Publix Junior Classic and the Honda Junior Classic.   

Her dad says Fiona will probably be moving to school in Scotland after the 2013 summer holidays.
