BROOKE HENDERSON LINES UP A PUTT IN BOGOTA
Brooke Henderson, 15-year-old Canadian girls champion from Smith Falls, Ontario, leads the South American women's amateur championship by five strokes with one round to play at El Rincon Golf Club, Bogota in Colombia.
Henderson, who has led throughout, shot a 76 for eight-over-par 224 over a testing ladies' course.
In second place on 229 is Daniela Darquera on 229 after a third-round 78.
Ireland's Paula Grant also had a 78 which pushed her up the field into T13th position on 238, one shot ahead of Alex Peters (Notts Ladies who had an 81 in the third round and isT16.
British stroke-play champion Sarah-Jane Boyd from Truro is T18 on 240 after an 85.
