KELSEY BACK IN FORM TO LEAD MATCH-PLAY QUALIFIERS

Kelsey MacDonald bounced back from the disappointment of a last-round slump in "The Sally" to earn the top seed status in the next event in the Orange Blossom Tour in Florida.
It's the Jones-Doherty match-play championship at Coral Ridge Country Club, Fort Lauderdale.
Stirling student and Nairn Dunbar GC member Kelsey headed the 32 qualifiers with an excellent score of three-under-par 69 round the Robert Trent Jones, senior-designed course.
She finished a shot ahead of the younger of the two Ivan Lendl daughters, Daniel Lendl with Mika Lui, the youngster who did well earlier on the Orange Blossom Tour earning the No 3 seeding with a one-under 71.
Kelsey's Stirling team-mate Hannah McCook from Nethy Bridge and Grantown on Spey GC stepped up her game from last week to be the No 7 seed with a round of 74, the same score as fellow-traveller Chloe Rogers, from the Braintree GC, Essex.
Chloe was a member of the bronze medals-winning Great Britain women's hockey team at the Olympic Games last summer. She is a four-handicapper so she played above her rating with a two-over-par score.
Chloe is the eighth seed
Also on the 74 was 16-year-old Wentworth member Annabel Dimmock. She is the ninth seed.
Kelsey MacDonald's first round opponent on Tuesday will be Stirling team-mate Mhairi McKay from West Kilbride. Mhairi was the last of the 32 qualifiers for the match-play stages.
Eilidh Briggs is not playing in this tournament, having return to Scotland to take up a placement as a PE student teacher.
