AMMACCAPANE TO MAKE DEBUT ON LEGENDS TOUR

Danielle Ammaccapane is a familiar name in the state of Arizona, and the former Arizona State University alumna and LPGA veteran will make her Legends Tour debut next week at the second annual Walgreens Charity Classic, set for February 23-34.
An eight-time LPGA Tour winner, Ammaccapane will join some of the biggest names in women’s golf when the official senior tour of the LPGA kicks off its 2013 season at Grandview Golf Club in Sun City West, Ariz. It will mark the first tournament Ammaccapane has played in five years.
“I haven’t played in a while, so I’m excited to see my old friends and colleagues and to be around all the great players again,” said Ammaccapane, 47, now a mother of two. “It’s great that this tour is available and I’m really looking forward to getting back out there.”
