CHRIS LOW FINISHES AHEAD OF SEAN LAWRIE IN TEXAS
Sean Lawrie, nephew of Paul Lawrie, was below his best form with scores of 88 and 75 for a total of 164 and a share of 43rd place in a field of 56 for The Wrangler college tournament at Split Rail Links Golf Cub, Aledo in Texas earlier this week.
Young Lawrie, a member at Portlethen Golf Club, is a student at Midland College, Texas.
North Berwick's Chris Low, a Tantallon member and a student at McLennan College, finished ahead of Sean in a share of 30th place on 160 with scores of 83 and 77.

Two Western Texas students, Felix Moesmang (76-71) and Fredrik Andersen (73-74) tied for individual honours on three-over-par 147 over a longish course of 7,353 with a par of 72.
Odessa (611) won the team title ahead of Western Texas (617) with Tyler Junior College (624) third, Midland (629) fourth and McLennan (634) fifth in a field of nine teams.
